Open Studios - 2011
Our 2011 Open Studio was a big success. We had some amazing guests. Lots of interesting people, and a nice surprise visit from a collector. I always get a shot of energy from seeing people interact with my work.
Studio 19 (myself and my husband/The Zymoglyphic Museum) often participate in Silicon Valley Open Studios in May. There are usually demos of some kind and exhibits of our projects. I also like to put out one of my collections. I have featured plastic dinosaurs and godzillas, junk, and in 2011, my collection of old cameras. Next year? Maybe my 20th century volvelle collection. They are all in drawers and I never get to see them all together.
