©2005 Inge Infante. Inge made this book to hold some slide-sized collages. She liked the backs of the collages, so each one is mounted in a window in the page. She didn't want the back of the previous slide to compete with the front of the next one, so she put a translucent piece of paper between each page. There is a piece of plexiglass in the opening of the cover that has scratches on it. It is held in place with tube rivets. The text written on the cover is acid etched. She used a black sharpie for the resist. The acid was getting weak, so the text doesn't show that well, but it has a lovely subtle effect. The spiral looks a little wonky because the book wasn't finished when I took the photo.
